The Advantages of Having a GSA Contract.

All companies who are interested in selling to the government should know all about the General Services Administration (GSA) and should be looking to obtain a contract.  It allows the company to have easy access to government clients, increase their sales, and be able to fully serve the government agency with their technology.

Nearly all companies would be able to benefit by selling with a government contract. It hurries up the federal buying process, in addition to, again, increasing government sales opportunities.
Most government agencies push to improve quick productivity. Because of this factor, government customers are increasingly using GSA contracts to make a purchase. Having a GSA contracts brings extreme credibility in the eyes of government agencies. These companies have become the preferred purchasing tool for decisions made in the government. It is the preferred tool to also use government based products and services.

Fluctuations in federal contracting guidelines have made having a GSA contract more like a requirement for America’s current businesses. Because of these fluctuations, GSA sales have amplified annually for the past 10 years and counting! In recent years, government clientele have obtained billions in products and facilities, simply by taking advantage of their GSA contract.
FileBank is eager to start taking advantage of this milestone and to start getting noticed in the government spectrum!

How Small Businesses Can Benefit From FileBank’s Shredding Services.

Regardless if you are a part of a small or a large corporation, all still have an extreme amount of sensitive information that they must deal with on a daily basis.  Most of FileBank’s current customers are all entrusted with the following types of documents:

  • Past and present confidential employee records
  • Client information (social security numbers, addresses, history, etc.)
  • Vendor information and invoices
  • Transaction records
  • Patient files

The importance of keeping this type of information secure goes without saying.  Once considered obsolete, it must be destroyed in a sensitive manner, with knowledge of the information being destroyed cannot be stolen or obtained in the future. It is the law, not only the company’s obligation. Failing at this can result in government fines, law suits, and the end of a good business’ reputation.  Most of the information listed above must be obtainable for a certain amount of years before it is allowed to be destroyed. With all these “what if” questions clients have to worry about, why not hire a professional who is certified to work with these documents.

Why should you hire a shredding service for your organization?

Hiring a shredding service is an absolute ideal situation for a variety of reasons. The main reason is obvious: Space. Most businesses do not have the space for excess paperwork, let alone small businesses with less office space as it is. Commercial shredding machines are usually bulky that take up a lot of space. It is just smarter and easier to have a vendor to come to your organization when requested and do the work for you, so everyone in your organization can focus more on their own tasks instead of trying to find more space for their documents. In addition, a shredding service like FileBank can offer you different options to meet your needs. We can bring our shredding truck to your location so a member of your company can witness the shred being done, or we can shred the documents in our in-house data center!

Benefits of Using FileBank’s Shredding Services for Your Small Business

There are several benefits of using a professional shredding service for your small business. These benefits include:

  • Complete protection of information
  • Compliance with Government regulations
  • Prevent information and identity safe
  • Saves you space, time and money.
