Meet Our New Vice President of Shredding Services, Nick Moretta

After 10 successful years at FileBank, former Account Executive, Nick Moretta is now our new VP of Shredding Services!

Formally focusing on Municipalities in the New Jersey area, Moretta has gained an immense amount of knowledge of imperative documents, and the lifespan that must be present. With this knowledge, he decided to take the extra step in using this to assist our current and potential clients in understanding the thorough process that comes with shredding documents. 

Destruction of documents is not a sporadic decision. There is a lot of time that must go in it, considering that most documents have a state and federal law that permits them from being destroyed before a certain time period. He is here to help our clients understand the laws and possible risks that comes with shredding, what our clients may believe are obsolete, documents.

If necessary, we will work with you to secure the consent from the proper state agencies to ensure, indefinitely, that the files you wish to destroy does not have a lifespan longer than the date you wish to shred them. Upon the destruction of the files our clients choose, a Certificate of Destruction is given to them as proof of the shred.

How We Became FileBank

Storage facilities are becoming more prominent in the digital era.  Many organizations simply wish they are able to find a secure facility where they can store their everyday clutter. FileBank is a hidden gem under some company’s noses. We are here to tell you how we came to become the successful corporation we are today.  We will enlighten our readers into understanding our journey that started over a quarter of a century ago, and how I, Greg Copeland, President of FileBank Inc. came to be an individual all organizations should know.

I started as a photographer with offices in Paterson, New Jersey and efficacious connections.  After a fire destroyed the New York Opera’s storage unit, I decided to help friends in need, and offer my facility to store the saved items.  As epiphany hits, it starts a domino effect; we had our very first storage client.
With an immense amount of client’s already by the early 1990’s, I began my search for a better protected facility. After five years of skepticism with different locations, we finally found one with great potential in
Oakland, New Jersey.  My main goal was to provide our clients with a safe and secure facility that can withstand any weather.  I was apprehensive after reviewing the blueprints and learning that our building can only withstand winds up to 85 mph; that wasn’t enough in my mind.  This being said, I decided to expand the security of having a building that can withstand winds up to 125 mph.

 A perfect model of my concern was the shock of Hurricane Sandy.  Have we not ensured that extra security, who knows what imperative documents stored at FileBank could have been compromised.  My clients and I sleep well at night knowing their documents are stored in a facility that is fire resistant and safe in the worst of weather.

Currently, we have an inventory of well over 300,000 boxes and 900,000 files, an Archive Center that sits four stories tall and has 600,000 cubic feet of storage space. We have two successful programs helping our clientele be current with the booming digital era, and most of all, they’re ALL satisfied.

Virtual Storage - Easy Access And A Smart Way To Secure Documents

Anything you need regarding secure document servicing, we are here to offer it to you!

One of the amazing things that FileBank offers to our clients is access to virtually request documents via their P-Cabinet. Not only can they do this, but they can also see their entire inventory of documents and containers through this same outlet.

We ensure all clients get the appropriate training to successfully operate P-Cabinet and what it proposes. With on-site training from our professionals, how-to videos, and even blog posts, FileBank takes pride in knowing all clients are thoroughly aware of the services they purchase, and get the most for their buck.

Once the work order is completed, clients will then be able to view their requested documents via their V-Cabinet. This software is a virtual storage unit given to our clients to easily retrieve, and distrubute the document throughout their organization.  Once the document is in their V-Cabinet, it is there for good! You will never have to request it again!

Here, we will show you keystroke-by-keystroke how to maneuver through P-Cabinet and V-Cabinet. Also, how to virtually request a work order.

Meet Our New Sales Representative, Kim Creegan

FileBank has been gaining status around the Tri-State area, and we have our loyal clients to thank for that! With increasingly potential clients interested in our services, we have expanded our Sales Representatives.  We take pride of having spunky and personable individuals who are considered the faces of FileBank to our clients; this new addition to our family is no different.  Here, we will give you an opportunity to meet one of our newest reps, Mrs. Kim Creegan.

Creegan is our representative who concentrates on medical and dental practices. What FileBank offers that is valuable to these types of establishments is the migration of their EMRs into an electronic system. This makes for quick and easy access of imperative documents needed for their patients. As clutter revolves around all doctors’ offices, she explains to these organizations that the ideal world of a clean and neat storage room can become a swift reality using FileBank.

7-Alarm Fire at a Storage Company - Customers of FileBank Never Have toWorry

Well over millions of significant records were destroyed by a 7-alarm fire at a Storage Facility in Brooklyn this past weekend. Vital documents belonging to organizations all over New York City forever lost. Many of whom never believed to inspect their storage facility and ensure that it holds the utmost security from outside entities, and natural accidents.  This particular happening in Brooklyn may be proof that a company should be interested in the quality of the storage unit, rather than searching for the cheapest one.

FileBank Inc. has invested heavily in our storage facility to provide a safe secure Archive Center; consequently our prices are bit higher. Finally! A Document Management Company you can trust, and who have friendly Customer Service Representatives.

For over 25 years, FileBank has been momentous for numerous different organizations; Municipalities, Medical Institutions and charities just to name a few. Our Sales team and Customer Service Department (CSA) are the faces and voices to our gratified customers. Each day, our CSA department ensures that we meet all of our client’s wishes, as well as taking criticism as constructive if any should arise. Here, we will give you the opportunity to meet our CSA Department, and their assets to our Document Management company.

 Milagros (Millie) Cruz: Millie has been a special asset at FileBank for over 14 years. She is the metaphorically omnipotent one in our Document Management Company. Any questions clients or staff may have, she is the individual to go to. She has developed exceptional relationships with our clients and has saved them time, and stress when it came to retrieving documents and other client related tasks. Her detail-oriented mindset makes her the paramount individual to have at this document management company.

Leticia (Nikki) Rivera: Nikki joined our team in late August of 2014, and has proved herself to be a worthy strength to our CSA Department. She is the go-to-girl when Millie is not available. Nikki’s previous experience in Customer Service has made her the perfect fit to work with Millie and our customers. She has learned the ins-and-outs of FileBank, and thoroughly understands the client’s needs when it comes to their contents being stored with us. She, too, has developed a relationship with our clients and proved herself trustworthy with doing anything she can to satisfy our client’s needs.
